Rentals
DGNZ, alongside our rental partner, service a large portion of the North Island with more than 50 hire generators in stock in our depots. We service Northland, Auckland and the Waikato, and supply further afield on request or project basis.
On offer is a comprehensive range of well-maintained, dependable diesel generators for short or long-term rental. We can supply generators ranging from 40kVA to 2.2MVA, in standalone or synchronous (parallel) configuration.
Rental generators are available as fully serviced “dry” or “wet hire” with all cabling and accessories for a complete operating package.

Block Heaters
Engine block heaters (water jacket heaters) maintain oil viscosity and cold-starting performance for any stationary engine subject to ambient temperatures below 16°C. They are critical for reliable generator start cycles, faster oil pressure, and general engine protection.

Pure Water
DI & Distilled Water
Diesel Generators New Zealand manufactures highly purified, PH-neutral, de-ionized (DI) water for industrial applications. Typically used for closed loop cooling systems, marine engines and large power stations. We can also supply pre-mixed solutions of Glycol and/or Rust Inhibitor based on your specific water chemistry requirements.
Our 9-Stage Filtration Process:
- 20 Micron pre-filter media
- 5 Micron carbon media — chlorine removal
- 1 Micron pre-filter media
- Ultraviolet sterilization
- Reverse osmosis filtering (RO)
- Quad mixed-bed ion exchange resin filtering
- 5 Micron post-filter media
- 1 Micron post-filter media
- PH, C-Ion, A-Ion and suspended particle testing
